How an animal gets a page
Nothing appears on the site the week it arrives.
Cut or acquired
A frag comes off a mother colony, or a colony enters the system. Either way it is numbered that day.
Settled
Six weeks minimum under our lighting. Colour and extension have to hold, not just survive.
Recorded
Water logged daily; origin, parent colony and dates written into the record.
Photographed
Under stated lighting, dated, no post-processing that changes colour.
Listed
The page goes up. It stays up after the animal sells.
After you reserve
How it reaches you
Reserve
It comes off the display floor into a named hold tank.
Hold
Seven days minimum, observed and re-photographed.
Pack
Double-bagged in its own water, heat pack matched to the route forecast.
Ship
Overnight only, never into a weekend, tracked from the door.
Acclimate
Drip instructions in the box and on the animal’s page.
Questions this raises
Can I see the animal before it ships?
Yes. Streams run three evenings a week and every animal shown has a page. You can also ask for a fresh photograph of a specific number.
What if it is not what the photograph showed?
Tell us within 24 hours of arrival with a photograph under your own lights. The photograph on the page is the claim; if it does not match, that is our problem.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. Shipping windows are set by the route forecast, and we do not currently have a route we would trust for a longer transit.
