Live

We show the animals on camera before they go anywhere. Three evenings a week.

Why we stream

A photograph cannot show you movement

  • Both lightings, in order

White first, then blue. A coral under heavy actinic is a different animal to look at, and you should see which one you are buying.

  • Fed on camera

Feeding response is the fastest honest read on a coral, and it is the one thing a still image can never carry.

  • Questions answered live

Ask about an animal by its number and we will put it in front of the lens.

How a stream runs

What happens in an hour

  1. A pass over the floor

All four raceways, slowly, with the day’s parameters read out as we go.

  2. Requests

Anything asked for by PL number goes in front of the lens, white light first.

  3. Feeding

Whatever is due that evening gets fed on camera. Feeding response is the fastest honest read on a coral.

  4. What opens next

If a drop follows, we say exactly what is in it and at what minute it opens.
