Every shipment
What is in the box
The same five things, whatever you ordered.
- Its own water
Double-bagged in water from the tank it was held in, not fresh mix.
- A matched heat pack
Sized to the route forecast, not to the season.
- Insulated packing
Rigid outer, foam liner, no loose fill against the bag.
- Drip instructions
Printed, and on the animal’s own page if you lose them.
- The record card
The number, the date, and the parameters it was held at.
- Tracking
Sent the moment it leaves, not the morning after.
Timing
When we ship
The window is set by the weather along the route, never by the order date.
Forecast
We look at both ends and the transit city the day before.
Decide
Outside 5–32 °C along the route, it waits. You are told, not surprised.
Send
Overnight only, Tuesday or Wednesday, never into a weekend.
Land
Before noon the next day. Be there — an unattended box is the main cause of loss.
Shipping questions
What does shipping cost?
It depends on the route and the box size, and it is shown before you commit. We do not mark it up.
Can I combine orders?
Yes, and you should — one box travels better than two, and it is cheaper. Reserve everything before asking us to pack.
What if it arrives dead?
Photograph it in the unopened bag and tell us within 24 hours. The DOA policy is written down and we follow it without argument.
