These are written down so they can be held against us. A standard that lives in someone’s head is a preference; one on a page with a date on it is a commitment, and the difference shows up on the day it is inconvenient to keep.

What people ask about these
What if an animal arrives dead?
Photograph it in the unopened bag within 24 hours and write to us. The bag matters: once it is opened nobody can separate shipping loss from acclimation loss, and a claim becomes an argument instead of a fact.
Do you ever ship into bad weather?
No. Outside 5–32 °C along the route it waits, and we write to you the day before rather than the day of. A reserved animal you cannot receive is not much use to anyone.
What if the colour is not what the photograph showed?
Tell us, with a photograph under stated lighting. Colour shifts with light and with settling in a new system — but if we photographed it misleadingly, that is on us and we will make it right.
