Aquacultured livestock

Grown from a piece of another tank-grown animal — distinct from maricultured, which is grown on the reef on a frame, however loosely the trade uses the two words. An aquacultured coral has never known anything but captive light, flow and food, which is most of why it survives the move to yours.
