WYSIWYG
The photograph is the animal you receive, not a representative of its type.
In this trade the term is a promise about photography: a WYSIWYG listing shows the individual animal, under stated lighting, on a stated date. Anything else is a catalogue photograph of something that looks similar.
It is also the reason our photographs are dated. A WYSIWYG claim with no date is only half a claim: an animal photographed in March and sold in September has had six months to change, and the seller who will not tell you when the shutter fell is the seller hoping you do not ask.
