Long daisy-like polyps on a rounded base. Historically difficult; aquacultured stock held in stable water is a different animal.
Care basics
This genus has a bad reputation earned honestly: wild-collected colonies used to starve slowly over months, and nobody could say why. Aquacultured stock changed that, and so did accepting that it wants feeding rather than only light.
Low flow, moderate light, and patience. Polyp extension is the whole signal — a flowerpot that stays half-open for a fortnight is not settling in, it is telling you something.
